  3. Installation:

  5. In this distribution you will find a file called mfsfm.prg. This is program
  6. installs itself in the GEM Trap(#2).
  7.  
  8. There are three possibilities to install MfsfM under "plain" GEM:
  9. - starting the program from the desktop
  10. - installing it in the AUTO folder _AFTER_ MiNT. (best way)
  11. - installing it in DESKTOP.INF as autoboot (a not very clever way)
  12. - installing it in MINT.CNF
  13.  
  14. The last possibility needs some explanations:
  15. exec <drive>:\<path>\mfsfm.prg
  16. This has to be inserted in MINT.CNF.
  17.  
  18. With MultiTOS the installations is much easier. Just insert a line like this
  19. in GEM.CNF:
  20. run <drive>:\<path>\mfsfm.prg
  21. Since version 1.06 we check first of all for the existence of
  22. "u:\proc\AESSYS.*". This is better than checking the AES version with
  23. appl_init because the appl_exit call seems to have problems sometimes if
  24. it is done too fast after an appl_init. Report me your experiences with it,
  25. please.
  26. Since version 1.07 it is possible to run MfsfM also from the AUTO folder
  27. if you are using MultiTOS.

  29. You should also put the file MFSFM.CNF in the root dir of one of your drives.
